[Professional Experience]

Judd Uhl is the Managing Partner of the firm's Kentucky office. He comes to Mannion & Gray from a large Ohio insurance defense firm where he was a Partner. Judd handles all types of insurance defense cases with a specialty in medical malpractice defense. He has first chair trial experience and has obtained successful verdicts in dozens of cases including wrongful death, product liability, premises liability, trucking, bad faith and malpractice. However, his most memorable trial result was the one where his son was born during the cross examination of the Plaintiff. The Judge graciously allowed a brief recess so he could be there for the delivery.

Judd was named as one of the “Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars” for 2006 and 2007 by Ohio Super Lawyers. He was appointed an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Ohio State University, a position which he held from 2000-2001.

When he is not working, Judd enjoys spending time with his wife and son; playing softball, indoor soccer, traveling, and horseracing
